Program Rules

Rules:

·  Property owner agrees to provide weekly watering to the new tree for the first three years. Tree Trust will provide additional care and maintenance information to ensure these new trees are given their best opportunity to succeed.

·  Trees are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

·  Property owner is responsible for working directly with Tree Trust to schedule the site visit, utility locate and planting date.

·  Property owner is responsible for working directly with Tree Trust to resolve any issues with the tree or planting in a professional manner.

·  The City of St. Louis Park cannot guarantee or warranty any trees.

·  Staff will verify that property boundaries are within the environmental justice priority area for applicants seeking the environmental justice discount, and/or that any trees purchased under the EAB discount are replacing trees removed due to Emerald Ash Borer after January 1, 2020.
